You can import Microsoft Access or ODBC tables into SprintDB Pro using Microsoft ActiveSync.
Follow the steps below.
- Make sure Microsoft ActiveSync is running and your device is in its cradle.
- Click the ActiveSync Options... menu and select Import Database Tables... This will enable you to select a database file from the Open dialog.
- To Import a Microsoft Access (.mdb) table, select the folder containing the file. For example:
\My Documents\Names.mdb. Click the Open button. Note: To import ODBC
tables (e.g. Oracle, dBASE, SQL Server, etc.), make sure to select "ODBC Database" from the Files of Type: drop down box at the bottom of the dialog. See below for more details.
- Select the Tables you want to import from the list displayed.
- If you would like to synchronize the tables, be sure to check the Keep tables synchronised checkbox.
- Click the OK button.
- ActiveSync will then copy and convert the selected tables to your device.

- When complete, open SprintDB Pro on your device and open the database.
- Select the Table tab tap the required Table name and tap the Open button.
Importing ODBC Database Tables When you choose to import ODBC database tables, you will need to choose the Type of Data Source. For example, "dBase Files". Use the
following steps.
- Select "dBase Files" from the list of file types.
- Click the OK button. This will open the Select Directory dialog.
- Choose the Folder where the dBASE file is located then select the required tables from dialog.
- When you click OK, the selected tables will be converted and copied to your device in Pocket Access (.cdb) format.
