SprintDB Pro 3.1 & Desktop Companion 2.1

 

SprintDB Pro is fully compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0.

The issue with Windows Mobile 5.0/ActiveSync 4.x has been fixed.

 

Simply install SprintDB Pro/Pro+Printing Ver 3.0. You will be able to convert and synchronize your Access databases with your WM5.0 device as previously.

Following bugs have been fixed

  • Picture box control does not display images properly on a Pocket PC with VGA resolution.

  • Bugs with Outlook related functions and commands.

  • Bugs with ReqyeryControl().

  • IIF() does not work in the Output property of a combo box.

  • Combo Box is not automatically refreshed after closing other form.

  • Bugs with string expression for CallForm(), CallMacro(), CallModule() macro commands.

  • A List control (Grid control) always has a horizontal scroll bar.

  • OpenForm Password does not work with an AutoRun form.

  • Table lookup with Valuelist does not work properly.

  • Bugs with OnChange event.

  • Bugs with cursor in a table's detail view.

  • Aggregate functions do not work in Table view. (SprintDB Pro Desktop Companion)

  • ScrollScreen() does not update the scroll bar position.

Enhancements to the Form Design View

  • Supports "Tools > Lock Controls" menu option.

You can now lock down an individual form controls when editing a form.

You can lock the controls, so that they are not inadvertently moved or resized when setting other properties.

To lock controls, select the controls you want to lock, and then choose Tools > Lock Controls.

To unlock controls, choose Tools > Lock Controls.

  • Supports the "Tools > Horizontal/Vertical Spacing" menu option.

You can now increase/decrease/remove the spacing between controls.
Select the controls you want to rearrange, and choose Tools > Horizontal/Vertical Spacing.

Enhancements to the Form Controls

  • New support for &ButtonControl.Image property.

Using the new property, you can set the button image at run-time.

Example:

SetControl( &buttonControl1.Image, "\My Documents\button1.ico")

New Sample Database "SDPNorthwind"

This database is similar to the "Nowthwind Sample Database" in Microsoft Access.

To try the sample database, choose Help > Sample Applications > SDPNorthwind.
